Several “beauties” roam our streets.
Of course there is the “beauty” of a person who meets or strives to meet the aesthetic criteria of an era or of our personal taste. But even the most “beautiful” of these people according to fashion or our own criteria, as soon as they are not asked to pose, will most often have an expression and/or an attitude without interest for the photographer who may come across them.
There is also the “beauty” of an expression, of a simple gesture, movement, of some striking, characteristic and “elegant” details.
Far from preconceived ideas about human beauty, Bruno Lapeyre pursues his quest for a polymorphous beauty that is always extremely ephemeral, shifting, risking decline at any moment.
